Project activities

One-month schedule: Learn about Gokseong for 20 days, plan a festival for 9 days, and hold a festival for 1 day, that is, one day.

Conditions for festival planning

It cannot overlap with a theme that has been carried out in Gokseong.

It must be carried out with Gokseong residents or Gokseong residents must participate.

The size of the festival does not matter.

It must be carried out.

* Since this project has a high degree of freedom for participants, we will give priority to those with a proactive attitude.

* This project starts on the 1st of every month, and participants can participate from the 1st.

Q. Can I really plan for 9 days? It seems difficult, so I am already feeling overwhelmed and worried.

A. It is natural to encounter difficulties during the project! If you find it difficult to proceed any further, the veteran PD leading this project and many local staff members will help you if you actively ask for help. :)

Introduction of the project's dedicated host

Producer Hong Su-jin of Gokseong, who is directly in charge of this project, worked as a tourism Dure PD in Gokseong-gun for about 5 years from 2014 to 2018. The PD, who is from Busan, settled in Gokseong after falling in love with the 'charm of Gokseong' and the charm of 'life as a member of the village', and later began working as a tourism Dure PD to further promote the local charm. Among the various PD activities, the ‘Resident Travel Agency’ created with Gokseong residents was the representative activity, and through this, many experimental and unique tourism programs and festivals that only residents know about have been carried out. After working as a tourism Dure PD, he is currently carrying out a wider range of activities centered around Gokseong and Jeollanam-do as a regional tourism expert.

If you want to come up with an idea with local color and realize it, try it. We are waiting for a planner who will unfold his own idea using Gokseong, where various projects have been carried out, as a stage.

*Tourism Dure Project: This is a project that supports tourism businesses so that local residents can produce and sell various resources with unique characteristics of the region.

*Tourism Dure PD: Plays a key role in the tourism Dure project.
